49. FLAGYL The story of a Pharmaceutical Discovery - J. A. McFadzean

Well, this seems a strange book to read but it's oddly personal.  When I announced to my family that I intended to go to university to study pharmacy, they said that there was a pharmacist in the family one Eric Baines who worked at May & Baker.  Apparaently he was the husband of one of my father's cousins - I never did meet him.  Well staring out of the pages - there he was, in charge of New Products Development who thought that the new drug showed promised when marketing were not supporting its development.

47. Nothing but the Truth - The Secret Barrister

I wasn't going to buy this book as I had read the previous books by the Secret Barrister (see 8 Stories of the Law and 38 Fake Law) but I read the first page and a half in the shop and it's the best hook ever!

43. Honourable Misfits - Marie Le Conte

If anyone is wondering what happened to my attempt at reading 100 books in 2 years, I have to admit that I am a little behind schedule becuase of Covid (obviously).  My gaming group has gone online and I am now immersed in Elder Scroills Online!
